Carrie Birmingham has been an education professor at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California for 18 years. She teaches courses in educational foundations, teaching methods, and English language development. She likes listening to classical and folk music, Shakespeare, sewing and knitting, reading about education, talking to friends, and reading literature by the Inklings.
Carrie grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended many schools, including St. Matthews Elementary School, Waggener High School, Cincinnati Christian University, College of Mt. St. Joseph, and University of California Santa Barbara. She has taught in public and private schools and in Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado, and California. She has one husband, one favorite son, and one favorite daughter. |
